People have been asking what they can do to help get Black Santa’s Revenge out in the public. First, tell your friends about the film. Encourage them to purchase a copy, or at the very least add us as a friend on MySpace. Second, spread the word. This is a bit like encouraging people to buy the DVD, but not really because there is no sales pressure. Go to MySpace or YouTube, and send people the trailer. Do whatever it takes to make everyone aware BSR. Finally, if you know someone who is involved with a film festival, tell them about BSR, and send them our way. It is very difficult to get a film into a festival, even if your film as an asskicking masterpiece like Black Santa’s Revenge. Most films get into festivals by being invited, or through personal contacts within the fest.

Just a quick update on the status of the DVDs for anyone who has ordered. Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, things have been moving slow. The DVDs were supposed to be here Monday or Tuesday of this week, but now I’m being told Thursday or Friday. If the discs arrive on Friday, I will ship them out on Saturday. Thanks for you patience.

The documentary film Darius Goes West is one of the best films I’ve seen in years. It was just featured on the Ellen DeGeneres Show (you can watch a clip under Video of the Day for Monday). We are now taking orders for Black Santa’s Revenge DVDs at the store (just click the button to the right). The discs are scheduled to arrive from the plant at the begining of next week.  We will ship all discs within 24 hours of getting them in our hands.
