That’s right, BSR is now available as a digital download!!!

Black Santa’s Revenge, an epic short film of two-fisted yuletide vengeance starring Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, The Devil’s Rejects), screens this week in Portland, Oregon, at Cinema 21 (616 NW 21st Ave.). Written, produced and directed by BadAzz MoFo creator David Walker (that’s me), Black Santa’s Revenge will screen before Jack Messitt’s critically acclaimed new horror film, Midnight Movie. The fun begins 11 pm, Friday and Saturday night only (Nov. 7 and 8).

Both Ken Foree and I will be at Comic Con this year. Ken will be in the autograph pavilion (check the program schedule for days and times). I will be wandering the floor on Friday and Saturday with copies of the DVD for sale.

Happy New Year and thanks to everyone who has supported Black Santa’s Revenge. The response in 2007 was great, but we have only just begun. There are still copies of the DVD for sale, and the film makes for great viewing even though the holidays are now (thankfully) over. In other words: If you haven’t bought a copy yet, DO IT NOW!!!

In 2008 we hope to build upon the popularity and success of BSR. Ken and I still want to do a feature length version, and the continued support of all of you fans will go a long way to making that happen. Please, make sure you tell your friends about Black Santa’s Revenge. If your favorite review site or magazine hasn’t written anything about, pester them. Send ‘em emails telling them to cover Black Santa’s Revenge (be firm and demanding, but polite at the same time).

In addition to making a feature-length version of BSR, the other goal is to publish a long-format comic book version based on the feature script. Ideally, this would be a graphic novel around 100 pages, but we’re so desperate to do something, we would settle on a 48-page one-shot. We just need someone to foot the bill. If anyone has serious contacts with comic book publishers, please hook us up.

Holy shit!!!! I never thought I’d be saying this…but I’m starting to feel like Sally Field…”You like me!” Actually, it’s the movie people like, and the great reviews keep coming in.
